"Testae" è il nominativo plurale del termine che in latino significa vaso, anfora.

TESTAE è una collezione di vasi molto speciali, umani. Il corpo diventa vaso e appare nudo, ceramico, privo di elementi disturbanti, viene plasmato dalla luce come argilla, mediante i chiaroscuri plastici tipici del bianco e nero analogico morbido firmato polaroid, e si rivela tra penombra e luce, adagiato su un piedistallo davanti ad un arazzo dell’800, come un pregiato complemento d’arredo. Il “vaso” è contenitore di linfa vitale per le singole essenze erbacee, floreali ed arboree che lo riempiono, lo adornano, lo completano e lo raccontano. Ogni posa è stata prodotta in due soli esemplari, manipolati dopo con l’applicazione delle essenze naturali precedentemente essiccate e trattate, in modo da gestirne singolarmente forme, consistenze e gradazioni cromatiche. 

La serie è composta da 18 polaroid, esposte a gruppi di tre, in sei teche di legno scuro e vetro, che richiamano gli antichi erbari botanici.

"Testae" is the plural of the term which in Latin means vase, amphora.

TESTAE is a collection of very special, human vases. The body becomes a vase and is nude, in ceramic, free of disturbing elements, shaped by light like clay, by means of the chiaroscuro plastic typical of the soft analogue black and white of a Polaroid, and reveals itself between penumbra and light, resting on a pedestal in front of a 19th century tapestry, like a valuable furnishing accessory. The "vase" is a container of lifeblood for the individual herbal, floral and arboreal essences that fill it, adorn it, complete it and communicate it. Only two specimens of each pose were produced, worked afterwards with the application of the natural essences that were dried and treated beforehand, in order to manage their shapes, textures and colour shades individually.

The series consists of 18 polaroids, exhibited in groups of three pieces, in six cases of dark wood and glass, which remind us of ancient botanical herbaria.
